Ranch

We are a small, diversified farm located in the rural township of Stüsslingen in the edge of the Swiss Solothurn county in the heart of Switzerland.  The farm, which has been in the Renggli family since 1951, looks out over southern Jura Mountains and is located directly next to our 2.5 ha of woods.

Since we could take over the Ranch in 2002, we raise appaloosa horses and alpacas.

Our farm’s name is derived from its location: it is nested between the woodlands of two neighboring communities (Stüsslingen and Erlinsbach SO), but also is based on the Initials of our names Daniela – Franz – Renggli and Double Forest Ranch. For this reason the abbreviation DFR is also in the names of our animals.
